On the last episode of Face Rockin’, we announced what’s going to be the topic of discussion in this upcoming Monday’s episode: Are Tech Companies Over-saturating The Market?
If you have an opinion on the topic, post it on Facebook, Twitter, or in the comments section below and it could be included with your name/handle in this Monday’s episode of Face Rockin’ in a text graphic. Or you can upload a video to YouTube of yourself explaining your thoughts and send it to our YouTube inbox, and it could be chosen to appear in the show in a fan video segment.
Here’s the topic explained in detail:
So Apple just revealed the 4th generation iPad. What’s that you say? The 3rd generation iPad just came out in March? Well then…
So the question is: are tech companies over-saturating the market? Are they releasing new products too often? Apple isn’t the only one to do this; plenty of companies have released new versions of their latest hardware and software a half-second after their latest update. Does this need to stop? Are these companies taking advantage of their customers?
Or is all this good for consumers? If Company A releases the next best thing, then Company B will scramble to compete with a better product. In a scenario like that, the customer gets new and better options more frequently and everyone wins. And should these companies be able to do what they want? I mean, that’s capitalism, right? The ability to sell what you want, when you want, how you want?
So what do you think? What’s your opinion? Share it in the comments below or on Facebook or Twitter and it could appear in the show. Or upload a YouTube video stating your thoughts and send the link to our YouTube inbox and it might be chosen to appear in the show. The only requirements are that you keep your opinions concise and free of profanity and offensive content.
